Sure, it seems like I&#8217;ve done a lot of these recently, and they should probably be newsletters, not blog posts. But whatever. A few players have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/friv\/numbers.fcgi?number=50\">worn 50 in the NBA<\/a> including father and son <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/a\/anthogr01.html\">Greg<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/a\/anthoco01.html\">Cole<\/a> Anthony. My pick is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.basketball-reference.com\/players\/r\/robinda01.html\">David Robinson<\/a> though. Let\u2019s get random.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I was interested to read about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.raspberrypi.org\/products\/raspberry-pi-400\/\">Pi 400<\/a> when it was first announced, so it was good to be able to read Preston&#8217;s review of the device <a href=\"https:\/\/nsrd.info\/blog\/2021\/02\/06\/dreaming-of-8-bit-the-raspberry-pi-400\/\">here<\/a>. There&#8217;s also a useful initial impressions post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phillipsj.net\/posts\/raspberry-pi-400-initial-impressions\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Scale Computing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scalecomputing.com\/press-releases\/scale-computing-announces-record-software-revenue-with-45-growth-and-achieved-profitability\">recently announced profitability<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.architecting.it\/blog\/hci-scale-profitability\/\">this article<\/a> from Chris Evans digs a little deeper into what that all means.<\/li>\n<li>The good folks at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.backblaze.com\/\">Backblaze<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.backblaze.com\/blog\/backblaze-hard-drive-stats-for-2020\/\">recently published a roundup of its hard drive stats for 2020<\/a> and it makes for some interesting reading. Notably, Backblaze now has 162530 spinning drives and 3000 boot drives in service, and over 3000 &#8220;pods&#8221; in service now.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of data protection, Zerto announced some good news from the Gartner Peer Insights Customers\u2019 Choice. You can read more about that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20210125005112\/en\/Zerto-is-Recognized-as-a-2021-Gartner-Peer-Insights-Customers%E2%80%99-Choice-for-Data-Center-Backup-and-Recovery-Solutions\">here<\/a>. I&#8217;m a big fan of Zerto, and I&#8217;d like to see the company successfully navigate whatever is gong on with it at the moment.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m a fan of Rancher, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suse.com\/c\/rancher-and-longhorn-1-1\/\">Longhorn<\/a>, and thought <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.co.uk\/news-releases\/longhorn-extends-kubernetes-native-storage-capabilities-to-support-edge-deployments-856969946.html\">this news item<\/a> on what Longhorn is doing at the edge was pretty neat.<\/li>\n<li>Working with VMware Cloud Foundation and need to do some bundle updates offline? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vjonathan.com\/post\/vmware-cloud-foundation-offline-bundle-4.x\/\">This article<\/a> might be helpful.<\/li>\n<li>The Ringer recently published a list of 50 best cult movies that you can read <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theringer.com\/movies\/2021\/1\/25\/22244344\/cult-movies-ranking-top-50\">here<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0097438\/\">Gleaming the Cube<\/a> was notable for its absence, but these things can&#8217;t always be 100% correct.<\/li>\n<li>I was fortunate enough to attend <a href=\"https:\/\/techfieldday.com\/event\/sfd21\/\">Storage Field Day 21<\/a> recently.
